Ahsoka is a character who was first seen in animated shows and made her live-action debut in season 2 of The Mandalorian. Rosario Dawson plays Ahsoka and will be starring in the new series. The show was already expected to debut in 2023, as part of a busy schedule of new content on Disney Plus.

Disney has several other Star Wars shows in development, with The Acolyte being one of them. The Acolyte, which features actors Amandla Stenberg, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Lee Jung-Jae, is set to premiere on Disney Plus in 2024.

Ahsoka premieres on Disney+ this August, while The Mandalorian season 3 is currently streaming on the same platform, with new episodes on Wednesdays. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K now, as well as on Disney+.
